Where we start
We consider textiles from light control to everyday wear, combining colour, drape, texture and performance in a coherent selection.
What we can select
- Curtains and sheers
- Decorative fabrics
- Upholstery fabrics
- Indoor and outdoor textiles
Suitable for
- Bedrooms and resting areas
- Living rooms and social spaces
- Hotel rooms and shared areas
- Projects with specific technical requirements
Light and privacy come first
Curtains can filter daylight, provide privacy or help darken a bedroom. We establish which function matters most and how light changes during the day. Doors, nearby furniture and the window itself also affect the solution.
A hotel bedroom may place more emphasis on darkness and ease of use, while a living room may need a lighter layer. The textile proposal starts with the room rather than a reference image alone.
Choosing fabrics in context
We select textiles from Élitis, Issé, Casamance and Camengo in relation to the interior. Colour is considered against flooring, timber and walls; pattern against the scale of a window or upholstered piece.
Composition, drape and care instructions are checked for each reference. Tell us about sun exposure, intensive use or technical requirements before selection. A decorative fabric should not automatically be treated as suitable for outdoor or hotel use.
From measurements to making and fitting
Window dimensions are only the beginning. Mounting height, space around the opening and the way curtains will move affect the system, fabric quantity and result. Execution dimensions need to be confirmed before making.
We coordinate the textile selection with the agreed making and installation scope. For a hotel, room types and quantities are organised separately. If another studio has designed the scheme, we review its specification and clarify outstanding decisions.
Planning quantities and timing
The schedule depends on fabric availability, quantity, making and installation. In a phased refurbishment, identify which rooms need to be ready first and when they will be accessible. This belongs in the brief alongside colours and materials.
Send window photographs, approximate measurements, location and visual references. Explain whether the priority is privacy, darkening, upholstery or a full textile scheme. An indicative budget and target date help us assess practical options.

Questions about the service
How do sheers differ from a darkening solution?
Sheers generally filter light and may provide privacy, depending on the fabric and lighting conditions. Darkening also depends on the curtain system and how it meets the window surrounds.
Can curtains and upholstery be coordinated?
Yes. We consider fabrics and colours alongside furniture and surfaces. Different references may be needed within one palette because curtains and upholstery perform different roles.
Are all decorative fabrics suitable for hotels?
No. Suitability depends on the reference, intended use, cleaning needs and technical requirements. Supporting documentation should be checked where required.
Are approximate measurements enough to begin?
They can help us discuss the selection together with photographs. Final dimensions, system position and making details must be confirmed before execution.
How do you organise several hotel rooms?
We group room types, measurements and quantities to define each item. Timing is agreed around fabric supply, making and access to the installation areas.
